As you can read in our last blog, we had a special time in Chin State, Myanmar.
Beautiful things happened in a very special way and with beautiful ideas in our head we came back to The Netherlands.
However, in recent weeks we have also noticed that expanding on and working out the details of these beautiful ideas is scary. Now that everything is getting closer and concrete steps have to be taken, this whole plan is a very big leap! Leaving everything behind and facing so much uncertainty and unfamiliarity comes in harder than we had expected (although we did expect it to be pretty serious).
We are still in the research phase and have not committed ourselves to anything. We have returned very enthusiastic but at this moment we have different feelings and we do not want to force each other. On one hand we are eager to start, on the other we are paralyzed by all complexities and uncertainties.
We have have to decide what to do with our time, money and energy for the years to come. Because it is causing a great deal of unrest at the moment, we have decided to take a break and let everything sink in so that we have time to structure our thoughts and emotions and ultimately come to a good and wise conclusion. Not easy, but necessary...
